The Art For Social Change Awards is the competition at the heart of the charity; inviting submissions for a largescale behaviour changing art campaign where winning work will be judged on its ability to impact positively on negative social behaviour and feature in a large-scale public advertising campaign in major cities - starting in London. Art For Social Change is supported by leading figures from advertising, behavioural science and education.
The Art For Social Change Awards will be a repeatable process that can address any human challenge - from loneliness to climate action to inclusivity.
All submissions will be ranked using a cutting-edge neuro and behavioural science methodology to determine the Behavioural Change Energy (BCE) of each piece.
Shortlisted works will be judged by leading creative industry figures and social change makers including Sir John Hegarty, Sir Mark Thompson, Paul Bainsfair, Rory Sutherland - people whose work has already shaped culture and careers.
The winning ideas will become the centrepiece of a major London behavioural change street campaign, working with Bauer media (on flagship Adshel live sites and digital billboards). It will launch on Blue Monday 18 January 2027 and be seen by millions of people in our streets and online.
We will track and measure the impact of the work pre and post exposure.
